Special thanks to all the mom’s and grandma’s who helped us with our dancers in our Big Show! We couldn't have done it without your help!  Your service means a lot to us!  All the girls love all of you!

Every girl must be paid in full including May tuition, Competition fees and gym rental before our Revue practice Saturday May 17.  We love teaching your child but please keep in mind that this is our job!  When your child is paid in full she will receive her pictures!

                Every Child must be at Wednesday’s practice to put our big show back together and practice the black & white (glow in the dark) number.  Your child will receive a note at Wednesday’s practice to let you know what time she will need to be to practice on Saturday to practice our Revue.  It will be early in the morning.  Please have her on time and no one can leave early!  Wednesday was the only day we could get a big building.

                You can save seats the night of the Revue but not until school gets out.  You can use blankets – No tape!  The janitor will tear your blanket off if you use tape.  The principle at the High School said if you come before school gets out and put blankets down he will charge you $100.00.  They are having classes in the gym and do not want anyone in the gym.

                If you have great pictures of your child or great pictures from our performance (Parade, Halloween, any performances) we would like to use them in our Slide show (DVD) Please email them to Karly_veibell@hotmail.com by this weekend.  Karly will be putting together our slide show (DVD) she does a great job!  We also have someone awesome videoing our Revue.  If you are interested in buying a DVD of our Revue and slideshow you can prepay before our Revue.  The DVD will cost $20.00.  We will be selling the DVD the night of the Revue for $25.00.  We will have a table set up with someone selling the DVD’s the night of the Revue. 

                For the glow in the dark number which is our last number on the Revue- your child will need to wear neon colors – white.  The more bright she wears the more she will glow in the dark.  The girls and boys love this number.  They will be spotlighted and then we will perform our big finale in the fluorescent lights. No spray paint or glitter will be allowed.

                Your child will wear her Va-Del costume for her ballet and lyrical number.

                We will be offering summer classes in gymnastics, back handspring, technique & flexibility.  A lot of Mom’s have been inquiring about our specialty groups like California Girls.  We would like to give more girls this opportunity to be in our specialty dances.  We will pick specialty groups the end of July according to their technical level and flexibility.  If you want your child to be in one of our specialty classes, then she will need to take one of our technique classes this summer.  If your child is interested in doing a Solo you need to call one of us and put her name on our sign up sheet.  We recommend that she take our technique class if she is trying out for a solo.  Dates, Times and prices will be on our next note.

Revue Slide Show

Karly will be putting the slides show together for our Revue.  If you have any great pictures from any of our performances - including Parade- send them to her email: karly_veibell@hotmail.com.  We have a professional guy from Logan videoing our Revue.  You can be a DVD for $20.00 if your buy it before the Revue or it is $25.00 at the door.  The DVD will have the Revue and Slide show on it.

Every girl must be to our Revue practice if she wants to perform at our Revue.  We cannot do it without everyone to practice

We will be getting ready for our Revue for the next 3 weeks.  Make sure your child comes to class to work on her ballet/lyrical dances and the black & White Glow in the dark number. Every girl will need to wear bright neon colors and white for our last number the night of our Revue.  Be creative - the more colors she wears the more she will glow.  The girls love to wear glow in the dark necklaces or anything that you want.  It is a fun number. 

                Your will receive a note next week with a new schedule and more info about our Revue practice Saturday May 17th in the morning and our Revue Tuesday May 20th at the Bear River High School.

We will be handing out pictures before our Revue.  Your child must be paid in full including May tuition and Gym rental before our Revue practice.  If your child takes 1 class then she owes $22.00 for Gym rental.  If your child takes 2 classes then she owes $25.00.  If she takes 3 classes then she owes $28.00.  If your child is in Jr. Competitive Cheer or Sr. Competitive Cheer then she owes $30.00.

Congratulations to all our dancers and cheerleaders for an awesome job at our last competition - we brought home 20 1st place and 1 2nd place .  We won the Overall Lyrical Division & Overall Cheer Division. We were awarded the Best Technique and the Best Choreography.  We also were awarded the Overall Routine and Va-Dels won a Banner for the Overall Sweepstake Studio.

Congratulations to all individuals - they all did an amazing job.

We want to wish all the individuals who are competing this Friday - Lots of Luck

                 You need to take your little ones to the bathroom before you bring her to us.  Make sure you have someone to pick her up right after she is done performing.

              Make sure before you leave home you have everything she needs for each of her performances! All ribbons and hair pieces must be bobby pinned in good.  Hair pieces are on the left side.  Put all her costumes in a suitcase.  We do not have any extra costume parts.

Saturday May 3rd is our competition.  It is as Roy High School (21500 W. 4899 S. Roy) do not be late!!!  We will have to perform even if everyone is not there - the performances are on a tight schedule.  We will meet in the practice gym.  Every girl must be in the practice gym 5 numbers before she goes on.  Some dances are very close to each other.  There will be girls there to tell you where the practice gym is.

Hair - Everything the same as last competition - all Hair bows are bobby pinned on the left side.

Va-Dels Costume - All parts (costume, tutu, wristband, hair piece, dance shoes, dance tights, rhinestone earrings.  If your child is in the dance group that didn’t get the same earrings - then she can wear round rhinestone earrings (studs only).  No bras can show!  No sports bras!

Pee Wee Cheer & Jr. Cheer - Top, skirt, red spankies, white keds, (socks you can’t see), red bow, Pom Poms, no earrings, no tights

Jr. & Sr. Competitive Cheer, All Star Cheer - Cheer top, Cheer Skirt, black spankies, white keds (cheer socks) bow, No earrings, No tights

Pee Wee Company - White costume, bow, hairpiece, neck choker, tights, dance shoes, rhinestone earrings.

Oldest Hip Hop - White & black high tops, rhinestone earrings, pink pants, black sequin top, headband

Hair - Jr. Elite, Oldest Hip Hop, Cheer Leaders - every girl in these classes needs to put her hair in a high ponytail with loose curls.  The ponytail needs to be put on top of her head.  some hair needs to be wrapped around the elastic, so you cannot see the elastic.  No bangs or Hair on her face at all.  Pull sides and bangs back.

Hair - Pee Wee Company - All hair pulled up into a bun (sock bun) on the crown of her head - no bangs.

Hair - Va-Dels - Preschool & Kindergarten - leave hair down and curl with loose curls.  Pull up side on left and bobby pin her bow in good.

1st grade & older - All hair pulled up into a bun (sock bun) on the crown of her head, No bangs.  Everyones bun must be the same. Hair piece goes on the left of the bun.

Please pack bobby pins and safety pins.  Leave them in her suitcase or bag for all her performances.

                You can go home after your child has performed.  We will hand out her award at our studio. Costume - all tutus must be safety pinned to her costume body on her hips.  They will slide up and down when she dances if you do not pin them to her body.  Open up the belt - (band) and pin it so it stays open.

Schedule for Week April 28

We have hired a professional photographer to take our pictures.  Please do not take your own picture during picture time inside the studio.

We are putting our big show together for our next competition Saturday May 3rd in Roy.  Every girl in Va-Dels will be in our Big Show.  We need every dancer to all the practices so they know what they are doing.  It is a big production.  If your child misses practice then she can still do her class dance but not the Finale.

Picture Schedule April 25-26

We will be taking pictures on Friday April 25, 2014 and Saturday April 26^th, 2014.  Pictures cost $13.00 per class.  This includes a group and individual picture.  You need to write checks out to Dana Veibell.  You must pay for you child’s pictures before she takes it. You need to have a pose already for your child.  We do not have time to think of a pose for each girl.  We must to stay on time.  Every girl in all of our Jazz classes needs to leave hair down long with loose curls, with hair piece on left side.  Cheer classes need to have their hair in a high pony tail with loose curls and cheer bow.  Jr and Pee Wee Company hair is in a high bun. Please bring your child even if you do not want a picture, we would like to have everyone in our pictures.  We are hanging the picture in our studio and displaying them at our revue.
