The Hi Steppers Spring Show is Monday March 3rd at 6 pm at the Bear River High School.

They will charge at the door for everyone except dancers.  It is $5 for adults $4 for children, 5 and younger is free.

We will let you know which groups will be performing on Thursday's note.  We will be having practices on Monday for the groups that are performing at the Hi Steppers Show.  There is a balance on her costume and we will let you know what that is.

Next Mon we will be changing Pee Wee Cheer to Wed March 5 2:30 - 3:15 because of our performance.

Cheer

If your child is in All Star Cheer Jr. or Sr. Competitive Cheer then you need to order Nike Cheer tennis shoes on-line.  The website is www.omnicheer.com.  Every girl must have these exact cheer shoes to perform in.  Same shoes as last year.  If your child is performing in last years cheer shoes they must look white an new.

Every girl must have the same bow.  They are the ones we used last year for cheer.  Make sure she still has it.  If your child needs one then you need to send $7.00 by next week.  We are only placing the order once.

Your child will owe a $16 competition fee for cheer.  If she is in 2 cheers we will owe 2-$16 fees.  This pays for her to perform at 2 competitions.  Every time your child performs her dance or cheer at competition they charge.  The first number is the $42 that includes the Revue fee too.  They cut us a deal on the extra dances and cheer that they compete with.

If you have not paid her $50 deposit for her cheer outfit-then you need to pay it this week.  We will not order your child's cheer material without her deposit.

Hip Hop 6th grade and older

Every girl in Hip Hop (6th grade and older) needs a $30 deposit by next week for her hip hop costume.  We have to get them made now because they are performing on March 3rd at the Hi-Stepper Spring Show at Bear River High School.

Every girl needs to order her Hip Hop shoes now!  You need to go to the website Just for Kix-GS4 black silver and white youth size (12-4) you need to order 2 sizes bigger than her street shoes.  If your child wears adult size (5-13) you need to order 1/2 size bigger than street shoes.

Next Monday Feb 17 Hip Hop practice for everyone.

Fees - Individuals- Costumes

We need every girls $42 competition revue fee by the end of January.  There will be a $10 late fee if you pay after Jan 31.

Remember to get your St. George competition fee handed in for your child $14 per dance and cheer.


Every girl that is in cheer needs to have a $50 deposit to us by Jan 31. for her cheer outfit.

We are having a solo meeting for all girls trying out for an individual - Wed Jan 29 6:30 at our Studio

If your child is in our Thursday Hip Hop class 3:15 - 4:00 ages 1st, 2nd & 3rd grade you need to order her Hip Hop shoes off the internet.  Just for Kix gs4-gia-mia Flash High top sneaker red.- they are red high tops.  Every girl must wear these to perform in.  You need to order them by this weekend because we are worried they will sell out of them.  You also need to bay a $30 deposit towards the Hip Hop costume by Feb 5th.

We need you to write a check out for each thing you are paying for.  You must write in the bottom of the check what you paying for.

We are having a problem with moms picking up their child late after class is over.  Sometimes we have other places we have to be.  Some moms are bringing their child way before her class starts.  It is hard to teach in the front with girls running around in the back.

In Feb we will be ordering tights, earrings and dance paws.  More info on next note.

Every girl will need to purchase the same lipstick.  It is different than last yer.  It is Revlon colorstay overtime lip color - Ultimate wine.  It stays on better and doesn't flake.  I would purchase it now and put it with her dance attire for competition.

Competition and Revue

**You must put at the bottom of your checks your child's name and what you are paying for. 

Every girl or boy that is in our cheer classes owe a $50 deposit for new Cheer outfits.  We use Cheer outfits for two years.  The deposit is due by Jan 30.

We are taking some of our groups to the St. George competition.  It is held at Dixie College.  It is Saturday April 12.
The following are the groups we want to take to compete at this competition.
Sr. Company - Jr. Company - Sr. Competitive Cheer - Jr. Competitive Cheer- All Star Cheer- 4th grade and older - Thursday Hip Hop class (1st, 2nd, & 3rd grade) 3:14-4:00

The competition fee is $14 for each class your child is competing in.  This is due Feb 1.  If your child cannot go then you need to let us know by Jan 26.  We cannot compete with cheer unless every girl goes because of our stunts.  We reserved the Hampton Inn Hotel in St George phone number is 435.652.1200.  You must make your own reservations.  You have four weeks to make them.  It is $114 per night and the price includes breakfast.  They have an indoor-outdoor pool and hot tub.  You can stay were you want.

We have all the older girls sweat pants, younger girls jackets and sweat bottoms at our studio.  You owe $15 more for jackets, $25 for straight leg sweat pants, $22 more for elastic sweat bottoms and older girls owe $28 for sweat bottoms.

Every girl owes $42 for competition - revue fee.  It is due by Jan 30.  This pays for two competitions (they will receive a trophy at each competition) and our Revue.  This pays for the first dance your child competes in at each competition.  Each additional number your child will compete in will be at a discounted price.  Last year it was $8 for each additional class.   (Cheer, Hip Hop, Company, etc.)

If it snows hard and roads are bad then check on our blog to see if we are teaching.  We will only post if we are NOT teaching.

Week of December 16

Some of you are still not paying the right amount for tuition.  The first class is regular price.  Each additional class is $5.00.  Everyone that has not been paying the right amount will need to pay the difference for the back months.

We need everyone to be paid in full including Dec. Tuition before Dec 15.  There will be a $25 late fee in Dec.  If you do not pay before Dec 15.

We are planning on handing out warm-ups on Wed Dec 18 and Thurs Dec 19th. We will let you know the balance due on Dec. 16th.
When you pickup your child's warm-ups you will need to be paid in full including Dec. tuition and balance of her warm ups. You must pick up your child's warm-ups the day we hand them out.  We cannot take any postdated checks.  We have to pay the people we purchased them from in full.

If your child misses dance, cheer or gymnastics class it is up to you to go to our blog and see if we handed out a note and if there are any changes in class times.

Your child must enter through the back door.  We had someone fix the back parking lot.

We will not be teaching dance, gymnastics or cheer the week of Christmas or during the Holidays.  Classes will resume on Thursday Jan 2.

Warm - ups

If you ordered warm-ups (sweats) for your child then you will need to come in to the Studio next Tuesday Nov. 12 between 5:15 - 6:15 to let us know what size you want to order for your child.

Every girl must pay a $50 deposit before we will order her sweats.  We will not take any more deposits after this week.
