This Saturday May 12 is competition - It is at Fremont High School ( 1900 North 4700 West, Plain City, ) It is for everyone in Va-Dels. They will charge everyone to get in except dancers. Admission is 3 years old & younger free, 4 years old to 14 years old is $3.00 & 15 years old & older is $7.00.
Do not be late- she will make us perform even if everyone is not present. You need to take your little ones to the bathroom before you bring her to us. Make sure you have someone to pick her up right after she is done performing.
* Write your child's name on everything - all costume parts and shoes
** Pack lots of bobby and safety pins
*** Every girl must wear our lipstick - color stay ultimate wine
Make sure before you leave home she has everything she needs for all of her performances. Lay it out and check each item off before putting it in her suitcase. We do not have any extra spare parts.
Every hair piece must be bobby pinned in good. It cannot fall off.
Cheer - Cheer top, Cheer skirt, long sleeve top, black spankies, cheer sock, cheer bow, Nike tennis shoes
Jr. Company - black costume, skirt, tights, dance paws, rhinestone earrings
Clumsy - Costume, hairpiece, dance paws, rhinestone earrings, striped hairpiece.
Slip - Costume, dance paws, rhinestone earrings, scarf.
Doll Dance - Costume, black tutu, striped socks, red bow, rhinestone earrings, dance paws.
Super Star - Costume, tights, dance paws, rhinestone earrings.
Candy Dance - Costume, two bows, tights, dance paws. Rhinestone earrings.
8th & 9th grade Hip Hop - Vest, black pants, earrings, Hip Hop Shoes, bandana, black tank.
10th & older hip Hop - White Jersey, black pants, bandana, rhinestone earrings, hip hop shoes.
2nd, 3rd & 4th grade Hip Hop - Pink jacket, black tank, black sparkly shorts, rhinestone earrings, hip hop shoes, bow pinned in good.
Rain Dance - yellow top tucked in shorts, belt (safety pinned to shorts), knee highs, rain boots, rain coat, rhinestone earrings.
5th, 6th & 7th grade hip hop - top, shorts, bandana, hip hop shoes, rhinestone earrings, knee highs.
Pee Wee Cheer and Jr Cheer- cheer top, cheer skirt, black spankies, black top, white no show socks, white cheer tennis shoes, cheer bow, no earrings
Va-Dels Costume - Jazz - All parts (costume, hairpiece, tights, dance paws & rhinestone earrings)
Safety pin all necks on costumes. They come undone when they dance.
No underwear - she will be wearing tights and we don’t want panty lines to show
No tights for Kind and Both Preschool classes.
Your child must be inside the Fremont High School at the times below

Make sure she is on time. Your child must come already to perform including lipstick. Do not let your child eat in her costume.
You can go home after your child performs - We will hand out awards at the studio.

Low Ponytail - Parted on right side comb to left side straight hair

High Ponytail - Straight Hair - Pull bangs and sides back into the ponytail

High Ponytail - slightly curled, bangs and sides pulled back into ponytail
Super Star, Pee Wee Cheer, Jr. Cheer, Candy Dance, 1st & 2nd grade Jazz, 3rd & 4th grade Jazz, 2nd, 3rd & 4th grade Hip Hop, Rain Dance
Classes that don’t wear bows - wrap a piece of hair around the elastic. Bobby pin hair around ponytail good.
Kindergarten hip Hop & Kindergarten Jazz class and both preschool classes
Pull bangs back and part into a square on top of her head and put into a messy bun. Let the sides and all the rest of her hair down. Loose curls - bobby pin hair bow in good behind her bun so it doesn’t fall off.
Every dancer must use clear elastics around ponytails.
Dance Schedule for the week after competition will be posted on our blog. We need every student to attend class to practice their ballet/lyrical Dance and learn their Finale and glow in the dark number for our Revue
