Week of May 2nd Schedule

We only have one week to put our big show together.  We will perform the big show with every dancer at the next competition.  Your child must be to all practices so she knows the finale.  Your child cannot miss any practices if she wants to be in the big show.  It takes everyone to be to practice to put it together.

Every girl will owe a gym rental fee.  We will let you know how much next week.  They are charging $80.00 per hour to rent the Natatorium.  Every gilr must be paid in full including May tuition and gym rental before our Revue practice!

You can go home after your child has performed.  We will hand out her award at our studio.  Costumes-All skirts need to be safety pinned to her costume on her hips.  Flowers on skirt need to be on her left side going down her left leg so we can see flower from the front.  Rhinestone belt buckles in the middle.



Logan Rec Center Competition...

Saturday April 30th is our first competition.  It is at the Rec Center in Logan (address 132 s 100 W.)  Do not be late!!!  We will preform even if everyone is not present.  You need to bring your child to us in the practice gym (right next to the big gym) five numbers before we perform.  You will need to take your little ones to the bathroom before you bring her to us.  Make sure you have someone to pick her up right after she is done preforming.

Make sure before you leave home you have everything she needs for each of her performances!  All ribbons and headbands need to be bobby pinned in good!  Hairpiece flower is on the right side.

There are a lot of dance teams competing at this competition.  Look and see what side your child will be facing before you find a seat.  They will be running both sides.  Beginners face south in the gym and Intermediate and Advanced will face north in the gym. 

COSTUMES

Va-Dels costume- (all parts), hair piece, dance shoes, dance tights, rhinestone earrings.  If your child is in the dance groups that didn't get earrings-then she can wear round rhinestone earrings (studs only)

Pee Wee Cheer and Jr. Cheer- Top, skirt, black bottoms, white keds, white peds (socks you can't see), red ribbon, Pom Poms-No earrings!

Jr-Oldest Competitve Cheer, All Star Cheer-Top, skirt, black bottoms, white keds, white peds (socks you can't see), red ribbon, Pom Poms-No earrings!

Jr Elite-high tops, black Capri bottoms, safety pin bottom of pants so they are tight under her knee and won't slide down during her performance, pink top, scarf and rhinestone earrings

Pee Wee Company-yellow dress, yellow flower, yellow shorts, rhinestone earrings, dance tights & dance shoes

Oldest Elite-skinny jeans, orange top, jacket, high tops & rhinestone earrings, black tank

Jr Company- coral dress, coral shorts, coral flower, rhinestone earrings, dance tights, and dance shoes

Hair

Cheer leaders-loose curls, pulled back in a high ponytail with a black elastic-bobby pin bangs back on the left pull to right-NO BANGS.

Jr. Complany, Pee Wee Company, Jr & Oldest Elite- loose curls, pulled back in a high ponytail with lack elastic-bobby pin bangs back to the side part on left to right-NO BANGS

Va-Dels Dancers- 4th grade and younger curl her hair and leave down long, bobby pin bangs back part on left to the right- No bangs.  5th and older girls curl hair and make curls on top bobby pin curls, pull into a pony tail with black elastic, bobby pin banks back part on left pull to right NO BANGS!

EVERY girl needs a bag to keep all her dance costumes in so she doesn't lose anything.

*Put child's name on everything
*No underwear under costumes- you can see panty lines and she will be wearing tights
*Every girl needs to pack bobby pins and safety pins!
*Every girl needs to wear dark lipstick (BROWN).  If your child is young please do not put a lot of make up on her.  (pack lipstick)
