Every student needs to keep current on monthly tuition.  Dec tuition will be due by Dec 15th.  If it is late there will be a $25 late fee.  Tuition must be paid in the month it is due.

If you still owe your child's $65 deposit on her costume you must pay it now.

We will not be teaching those days.  Wed classes will come on Mon Oct 15.  A lot of people leave town over UEA.  Some months have five lessons and we also teach a lot of extra classes in the spring to get ready for competitions.

Wed Oct 24 and Thurs Oct 25 we will be having a Halloween Party in your child's regular dance class only.  Your child can dress up and we will be taking pictures for our slide show for our revue in the spring.  We will meet at the studio; dance the first part of class then party.  If your child is in 1st grade and older then we will walk down to Pizza Plus.  Your child can purchase a slice of pizza, drink and bread stick for $3.00.  If you want her to have the special then send $3.00 with her.  She does not have to eat.  We will play games and take pictures.  We have treats for everyone.   We will walk back to the studio at the end of her class.  Have your child bring a bag to put treats in.  Your child can bring a treat to share if she wants to.

Monday Tuesday and Thursday classes will be at the same times the week of Halloween.

If your child is selling candles for our fundraiser you need to get your candle orders in so she has time to get fall candles back to you before Halloween.  This is a great fundraiser.  your child can us her credit towards anything in Va-Dels.

Your child's $65 costume deposit is due by the 15th of Oct.  This mandatory!

We have to get her deposit so we can pay them to get a spot.  It is no-refundable.

If your child is new in cheer this year and you haven't paid $25 for her pom poms then you need to do so.  We are placing a pom pom order on Friday.

Every child must keep current each month on monthly tuition.  You cannot carry your bill into the next month.  If you paid late in Sept and you didn't pay the $15 late fee then you need to bring it to us now.

We need every child to hand in her release from for dance.  You can print one from an earlier post or get one from the studio.

Fundraiser - Costume Deposit -

Every dancer and cheerleader must fill out our release form and hand it in.  We gave every student a note at our first lesson.  It had the release from on it.  Parents must sign and return by next week.  Do not cut it off, please bring the full note.  If you cut it off you need to sing and return another one by next week.

Every girl needs to wear dance clothes and dance shoes to her classes.  No long dance pants, unless she can roll them up to her knees.  Spankies (cheer shorts) are the best to dance in.

Girls taking cheer need to wear cheer (tennis shoes) to cheer class.  If your child is in Pee Wee Cheer or Jr. Cheer and does not have our pom poms then you will need to bring $25 for her pom poms by next week.
We need to get them ordered.

If your child is doing a solo (individual) we encourage her to take technique.

Kim Veibell White will be teaching Zumba classes.  She is certified and will be starting the month of October.  More info on next note.

We will be selling Salt City Candles for a fundraiser.  If your child wants to do our Salt City fundraiser then you must follow all the rules.  You have until Oct 15 to hand in her orders and money.  Please keep in mind that sometimes they get back ordered on Holiday candles, so hurry and get your orders placed.  Your child will make $5 off every candle she sells.  She can use her money to pay her deposit towards her new costume or anything in Va-Dels.  She must hand two envelopes into us.  One envelop should have her order and money for candles.  Put her name on the front of the envelope.  Make a copy for you so when you get your candles you know who they go to (cash only!).  In the other envelope you need to put her $5 X each candle she sold.  Write on the front to her envelope her name (cash only).  We will not accept any checks.  We will not place her order without her credit money.  Its too hard to keep track of everything if it is not done right.

Every child in Va-Dels will owe $65 (no-refundable) deposit toward her new costume by Oct 25.  You can sell candles to help pay her deposit.  We have to place our order for custome in Oct.  On Stage Dance Wear will not let us place our costume order without a deposit.

We expect your child to pay tuition by the first lesson of each month, after the 15th we will charge a $15 late fee.  This will be enforced!

We love our job and we love teaching your child and like any job we expect to be paid for our work.  We are sure you can understand and appreciate this.

If you are still interested in having your child in our Hip Hop class or if you are interested in our Mom & tot class, then you need to call us.  We will be starting these classes in Oct.

We will be going to Thriller in Logan on Friday Oct 19th.  It's for girls 6th grade and Older.  The tickets are $16.  It would be a great Mom/Daughter fun night.  It is an awesome dance show.  If you are interested then you need to have your money to us by Sept 15th.  We want to hurry an order them so we can all sit together.

Welcome to Va-Dels!

We are excited to begin a new year and have your family be a part of it.  We strive to attain a highly supervised and disciplined program with objective to teach and coach skills necessary to obtain the highest quality of learning.

Starting next week all dancers and parents will need to enter through the back door.  We need every car to drop your child off by our back door- drive though the alley and turn right onto Main Street.  For the safety of the dancers we ask that everyone follow these directions.  We need you to pick up your child in the back.

New monthly prices for dance classes-
Preschool -                       $30.00  Gymnastics $5.00
Kind, 1st & 2nd grade-     $35.00  This includes on extra class
3rd & 4th Grade-              $40.00  This includes two extra classes
5th & Older -                    $45.00  This includes one extra class

If your child chooses not to take two classes the price is still the same. Your child can take additional classes for $5.00 a month or $50 for unlimited classes.

The more classes she takes the better dancer she will become.

Please be prompt in dropping off and picking up your children.  We will not be responsible for students left unattended before and after class.  If a problem arises a $5.00 fee may be added to your account for time spent by instructors waiting for students to be picked up.  It is important that your child be on time so they can participate in all warm-ups.  Attendance is an important element in all classes.  Consistency is a valuable tool in learning and being in all classes regularly is essential to learning and growth.

Monthly tuition stays the same on longer and shorter months.  If you decide to change or withdraw from a class you will continue to be charged for all classes until arrangements are made with payment.

• Tuition is due by the 10th of each month and unless other arrangements have been made a $10 late fee will be charged after the 15th of each month.
• We reserve the right to refuse service after a 45 day delinquent account.
• We believe that our instructors are of the very best quality and we strive to have the best program while keeping classes affordable
• There will be a $20 fee on all returned checks.

If your child brings a cell phone to class it has to be turned off.

Dress Code - Students should come to class in appropriate dance, cheer or gymnastics clothes.  Dance shoes are required for all dance classes, as well as cheer shoes for all cheer classes.  Your child must bring her dance shoes and cheer keds in a bag, she will change into her dance shoes for class.

No Parents

No gum, food or drink will be allowed only bottled water.  No popcorn in our studio.

If your child brings cash it must be in an envelope with your child's name on it.  How much money and what you are paying for.  We will send a cash receipt the next week home with your child.  you must hang onto the receipt until May.  If you pay with a check then you will have your check for a receipt  Please write your child's name at the bottom of your check each month and what you are paying for.

Competition Teams - Students will be placed on skill/ability appropriate teams.  Your student may change classes as their ability levels increase.  Please understand this is to help them develop at their own rate and to allow them time to develop correct technique and skills.

We will be starting practices Monday, July 23rd  for the Box Elder County Parade. Practices will be as followed:

4 years old-4th grade practice will be from 5:00-6:00 at the studio
5th grade on up practice will be from 6:00-7:00 at the studio

These times differ from the note the girls received at technique/gymnastics due to the passing of Debbie & Krisanne's brother. If you have any questions you can contact Debbie, Krisanne, or myself (Karly). The girls will receive a note at practice with further dates and times for practices.

Summer Classes

If you are interested in your child taking summer classes (back handspring class, gymnastics or technique) they you need to call one of us to register her. 

Classes will start Tuesday June 12.  We will teach Tuesday and Thursday for 4 wees.  We will receive 8 lessons.  It will cost $45 for eight lessons.

If you want your child to be in Pee Wee Company or Jr company next fall, then she needs to take technique so we can work on getting her technique better.  We also recommend your child take technique if she is 3rd grade or older.

If your child is interested in learning a solo- you also need to call one of us (you need to get on our list).  It is easier for your child to learn her solo in the summer.

We will start parade practice around July 18th.

Tuesday May 22
Revue at the Bear River High School Gym.  Your child will need to be at the High School by 6pm already to perform in her blue costume unless she is in Oldest Competitive Cheer or Pee Wee Company(yellow dresses).  Everything the same as every competition (lost of lipstick, hair etc.)

You can save seats with a blanket-No Tape! You cannot save seats until school is out.
Our dressing rooms are located in the same hall that we line the girls up for her extra dances.  They are the boy and girl locker rooms. Same dressing rooms as last year.  Please change your child's costume fast so we can keep our show going without breaks.  The administration has asked us not to bring in outside food. 

Our Big Show Team will line up in the big hall by the auditorium that is were we will meet at 6:00pm. Then we will walk our team to the corners that they will come out to perform our Big Show.  When we ask the girls to go out in the hall to line up for the glow in the dark number- we will meet in the big area behind the gym north end.  We will show them at our practices.

We will be honoring second generation dancers.  All Va-Del dancers whose moms or dads took dancing from us will meet at the sound table one number before the second generation number.  Bring your daughter with you.  We will present you with a small token! We will all walk out as a group.

Every child must be at Thursday's practice to put our Big Show back together and practice the black & white number.
Your child will receive a note at Thursday's practice to let you know what time she will need to be to practice on Saturday for the Revue.  It will be early in the morning.
Please have her on time and no one can leave early!

You can save seats the night of the Revue after school gets out.  You can use blankets- no tape.  The janitor will tear your blanket off if you use tape.

If you have great pictures of your child or great pictures from our performances(parade, Halloween, any performances) we would like to use them in our slide show.  Please email them to karlyveibell@hotmail.com by this weekend.  Karly will be putting together our slide show (DVD). She does a great job!  We also have someone awesome videoing our Revue.  If you are interested in buying a DVD of our Revue and Slide show you can prepay before the Revue.  The DVD will cost $20.  We will be selling the DVD the night of the Revue for $25.  We will have a table set up with someone selling the DVD's the night of the Revue.

For the glow in the dark numbers which is our last number on the Revue.  Your child will need to wear white.  The more white she wears the more she will glow in the dark.  The girls love this number.  They will be spotlighted and then we will perform our big finale in the fluorescent lights.

Your child will wear her Va-Del costume for her ballet and lyrical number except 1st graders and they will wear the outfit that we picked up for her.  It goes with her song.

If you child is performing at Disneyland with Va-Dels we will be having practice Wednesday May 23 and Thursday May 24 to put it together.  Your child must be to both of these practices.  We will let you know on the next note times. We will also be having a mandatory meeting with parents to go over everything.  You also must be to this meeting with a note book and pen.  You will also receive your Disneyland tickets.

We will be offering summer classes in gymnastics, technique and back hand spring class.  Classes will start Tuesday June 12th.  If you are interested in your child taking you will need to call one of us before the Revue.  We will be starting practices for the fair parade in middle of July.

If your child is interested in learning a solo for next year you will need to call one one of us.  It is easier for your child to learn it in the summer.

Ogden Competition

Congratulations to all our Dancer's and Cheerleader's for an awesome job at the last competition.  We won lots of first places including 1st in our Big Show.  With scores 99,99,98.  We also won Best Showmanship.

Special thanks to all the mom's and grandma's who helped us with our dancers in our Big Show and Ballet numbers.  We couldn't have done it with your your help! Your service means a lot to us!! All of the girls love all of you!

We will be getting ready for our Revue.  Make sure your child comes to class to work on her ballet lyrical numbers and the black and white number (glow in the dark) that we will be performing the night of our Revue.  You will need to dress your child in white clothes for the black and white number.  Be Creative! The more white she wears the more she will glow.  its the last number we perform on our Revue.  She can wear glow in the dark necklaces and bracelets.

We will be handing out pictures before our Revue.  Your child must be paid in full including May tuition and gym rental.

If your child takes one class she owes $20 for gym rental.
If you child takes more than one class she owes $23 for gym rental.
If your child is in in Jr. Competitive Cheer or Oldest Competitive Cheer then she owes $28 for gym rental.

If you child is interested in taking Technique class or Gymnastic class in the summer- call one of us.

Karly will be putting together the Slide Show for our Revue.  We have a professional videoing the Revue.  You can buy a DVD for $20 if you buy it before the Revue or $25 at the door. 
The DVD will have the Revue and Slide Show on it!

We have parts of costume that were left at the last competition.  We have Cheer skirts from Pee Wee & Jr Cheer.  We also have cheer keds, dance paws and tights.

Please look tonight to see if your child is missing anything.

Do not be late!!  We will have to perform even if everyone is not there, we don't have a choice. The performances are on a tight schedule.  We will meet in the tunnel.  There will be girls there to tell you where the tunnel is located.  We might have to line our big team up outside.  We have never performed at this place.  It is hard to line everyone up in our big show without every girl there.  Please bring your child already to perform at the time below.  Before you leave home make sure you have everything your child needs for her performances!  

Hair-For every number the same as the last competition.

NO BANGS OR SIDE CURLS HANGING DOWN!
Please bobby pin in all ribbons and headbands so they dont fall off.

Every girl needs to wear dark lipstick (brown).
If your child is young please do not put a lot of make up on her.

 Everyone will be charge to get into the competition except dancers with a wristband.

Admission is $7.00- 3 and under are free.

You can go home after your child has performed.  We will hand out awards at the studio next week.  Skirts must be safety pinned on each side on her hips to dance body with flower  on her left side and belt buckle in the center.  Flower for hair on the right side with feathers on the top of the flower.  Make sure you have someone close by when we exit the floor to pick up your child.  They will not let parents down on the floor.  You have to be close by the portals we exit.  Tell her to stay close by the ladies helping us.  We face East.  Portals#19 & #4 are the only portals open to enter the lower level of the gym floor.  Those are the portals we will be going down to enter the floor.  We need all the young girls parents to stay with your child until we go down the portals.

Seating - Sections A-B-C-D are the only sections that will be open to spectator seating.

Dance Extreme

Congratulations to all our Dancers and Cheerleaders for  an awesome job last Saturday at Competition.

 We brought home 35 Trophies.

We won Overall Cheer, Overall Lyrical, Overall Hip Hop.  We also won Best Showmanship, Best Costume, Best Technique and Best Precision.

Special thanks to all the moms' and grandma's who helped us gettting them lined up!!  We couldn't have done it without your help!!

We have one week to put our big show together.  We will perform the big show with every dancer at the next competition.  Your child must be to all practices so she know the finale.  Your child cannot miss any practices if she wants to be in the big show.  It takes everyone to be at practice to put it together.

Every girl must have new or clean white tennis shoes for Cheer and White Peds- (no show socks).

Every girl must have tights with no runs or holes in to perform in and dance shoes (no bear feet).

We will be handing out our Cheer Costumes on March 28 at our Studio from 6:15-7:00.

Your child will need to be paid in full including her balance on her cheer costume when picking it up.  Every girl must pick up her cheer out fit this day.

We will be handing out a note each week.

We will be practicing at the Natatorium to put all our dances and cheers on a big floor.
Your child must wear dance clothes. 
If your child is in Cheer she must wear her tennis shoes and bring her Pom Poms to every practice.
Put a long ribbon around her Pom Poms with your child's name on the ribbon so she gets her own Pom Poms back.

Your child needs to arrive 5 minutes early and you need to pick her up on time.

Look at the note carefully and high light the times she needs to be at practice and if her practice is at the Natatorium or Studio.

Keep her note until she receives another note.

NO PARENTS will be able to come in and watch any of our practices!

We need mom's to help us in the corners and on the sides to help us keep the kids quite and in line.  If you can help us then call one of us and let us know.

The ladies helping us will be the only parents that will be able to come to our practices.

We cannot take kids to the Natatorium or back to the Studio- find car pools.

If your child is performing at Disneyland then you need to purchase her Disneyland ticket by March 15.  If you need more tickets for your family you can pay for them with your dancers Disneyland Ticket or you can purchase the rest of the family by April 10.

if you are performing saturday night at thr hi stepper regional we have a mandatory practice thursday january 19 at 8 to 9 pm at the natatorium. please wear what you are planning on wearing at performance. please be on time!!!! you will get directions to the high school and instructions on how to do your hair.
