We will be handing out sweats on Wed Dec 18th at our studio. You need to come at the time that we put for your child’s pickup.
It will be easier if you pay tonight on line so we can have them sorted before you arrive. Please be patient. We will hurry as fast as we can.

7:30-8:00- Preschool through 2nd grade
8:00-8:30-3rd grade through 6th grade
8:30-9:00- 7th grade through 12th grade

Christmas break

Next week in all our classes your child can wear Christmas Pajamas or any kind of Pajamas. Classes are regular schedule next week. We will not be teaching classes during the Holidays. Thur Dec 19th will be the last day we will be teaching until after New Years! Classes will Resume on Thurs Jan 2nd.

We will be handing out sweats on Wed Dec 18th or Thurs Dec 19th. More info next week. When your child pays her balance she will receive her sweats. We need everyone to pick up sweats.

If your child is in the 4th or 5th grade Specialty Class then she owes $10.00 for her balance on her costume.

Sweats

Your girls balance on her sweats are as follows

6th grade and older   $48.00
2nd , 3rd, 4th and 5th grade $38.00
Kind and 1st grade  $28.00
Preschool  $18.00

We will be handing sweats out next week. We will let you know the day for sure. If you are giving the sweats to your daughter for Christmas then you need to pick hers up that afternoon when she is not dancing. Balance will need to be paid in full before she will receive hers.

Pee wee cheer costumes

If your child is new in Pee Wee Cheer then she needs to pay $60.00.
We are working on the used try on's next Mon Dec 9th. The first girls to pay their money will get the used costumes. Also if your child was in last year and her costume is too little then  you need to have her bring it to cheer next Mon Dec 9th  In a sack with her name on it.
If your child needs Pom Poms then you need to send $30.00 to her class this week.

Cheer costumes

Dear Parent,   Nov 23 2919

If your child is in Jr Cheer (Wednesdays Cheer class from 6:30-7:15) she will need to buy a new cheer costume. If she was in Pee Wee Cheer last year and you want to sell her cheer costume then bring it to her cheer class the Wed after Thanksgiving in a bag with her name on the bag. I’m going to try and sell her costume before Christmas. You can use the money off of her  Pee  Wee Cheer Costume to go towards her new cheer costume. We need all her parts-  cheer skirt, cheer top, black under top and bow. You can keep her spankies if they still fit her. A deposit for her new cheer outfit will be due the first of Jan.

2nd grade hip hop shoes

We found some darling Hip Hop Shoes for the girls who are in the 2nd grade hip hop class. They are Jo Jo shoes. f your child takes that Hip Hop Class then you need will need  to order her the hip hop shoes. They are at Walmart  Please don’t wait to buy hers. They are $16.97. We felt like this is a good price for shoes. We are posting a picture of them. They are pink and purple. 

Thanksgiving break

Next week we will not be teaching dance classes on Wed Nov 27th or Thur Nov 28th. School is out on Wed and Thanksgiving is Thur.
We will be teaching classes on Mon Nov 25th and Tue Nov 26th.

Earrings and lipstick

Dear Parent Nov 11, 2019
If your child is 2nd grade or older and she doesn’t have our rhinestone earrings to perform in then you will need to pay  $13.00 to buy her a pair. We want to get them ordered now. You’ll need to let us know if she has  pierced ears or if she needs clip
 ons.
Every dancer will need to wear our lipstick for performances. It’s Revlon Color Stay- the color is stay currant. I would look for it now or order it on Amazon or buy it at any Walmart.

5th & 6th grade Party

5th and 6th grade party

 We are planning on going to the Movie  Next Mon Nov 18. Watching to see what movies are coming out. Trying to go to a 5:00 movie. We will need Drivers. if you can drive please let us know by Wed More info by Fri.

Costumes

Dear Parent,

If your child is in one of our specialty classes then you will owe $75.00 towards her costume. It is due by Nov 10th.  

If your child takes one of our Hip Hop classes then she owes $75.00 to go towards her Hip Hop costume. It is due by Nov 15th.

If your child is in preschool or 1st grade and is new in Va -Dels you owe $75.00 for her jazz costume. It is due by Nov 15th.

We need to get costumes ordered before they get back ordered.
If your child was in Va-Dels last year you need to check and make sure you have all her parts to her costume and make sure it fits to make sure you don't need a new costume ordered.

Halloween parties

We will not be teaching dance on Halloween Thurs Oct 31st

Halloween Parties🎃

Your child can dress up in her Halloween costume for her party. 

Halloween Parties will be in our Jazz classes only. All our other classes will be taught at regular times. Parties will be held next week during your child’s Jazz /dance class.
Mon Oct 28th will be 3rd and 4th grade party during her dance/jazz class.
We will let your child out of technique at 4:00 to get ready and walk to Pizza Plus at 4:15.
Wed Oct 29th will be Preschool, Kind , 1st grade, and 2nd grade Halloween  Party during her jazz/dance class. 

5th & 6th grade Halloween party will be posted later this week.
If your child takes Hip Hop, Cheer or gymnastic and does not take Jazz she is welcome to come to her age Halloween Party. 

Preschool and  Kindergarten class will stay at the studio to have their Halloween Party.
Pizza Plus

1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th graders will meet at our studio. We will walk down to a Pizza Plus with everyone in her class. We will walk back to the studio when we are done.
The students who are going to Pizza Plus will need to bring money if she wants to eat there. For $3.00 she can purchase a slice of Pizza, breadstick and drink. We will play our games at Pizza Plus and we will have a treat for everyone. 

All dancers need to bring a bag to put her treats in. If your child would like to she can bring a treat to share with everyone in her dance class. Please Make sure she brings enough for everyone in her class. If she has left over candy we will send it home with her.

Parade Note

*Look at the note and see where your child starts Parade.  Make sure she is at the right place
before you leave her with us.

Dear Parent,

Wednesday August 21  is the Fair Parade.  VaDels are number 21 in the Parade.  Every girl will
need to be at the place she lines up by 4:30 PM.  Please do not be late!  The Parade will start on time and we are at the first!

All girls 3rd grade and older will line up at 850 So. Tremont Street AND ALL THE GIRLS THAT
ARE RIDING THE FLOAT WILL GET ON THE FLOAT AT THAT SAME ADDRESS.
You will have to go down the back streets to drop her off or park and walk her down to her place. 
Girls riding on the float will be at the beginning of the Parade with the older girls at 850 So Tremont
Street. Girls 2nd grade and younger will line up at the 2nd/5th ward LDS church - 300 South Tremont
Street. Not the Stake Center. Its the church by the post office . Krisanne , Jackie and Darci will be at the beginning of the parade with the 3rd  grade and older girls and the girls on the float.  Debbie, Kalisa and Karly will be at the church location with the younger girls that are dancing on the road (2nd grade and younger)

***Every girl will need someone at the end of the Parade to pick her up when we are done performing.  They will make us move our vehicles out of the way and we cannot stay with your child - make sure you are at the end of the parade to pick her up when we get there.  The parade route ends at North Park Park.

HAIR

-  3rd grade & older - part bangs in the middle - pull all hair into a low ponytail - Straight hair - tie hair piece in a knot, leave the rest hanging down.  Bobby pin in good.

- 2nd grade & younger - part bangs in the middle - pull all hair into 2 low pigtails - bobby pin bows in good on top of pigtails.  Loose curls

EARRINGS

 - Must wear Va-Del Rhinestone earrings - studs only (no loops or hanging earrings).

Put bandages on your childs heels -so she does not get blister on heels.

LIPSTICK -EVERY GIRL WILLL NEED TO WEAR THE VA-DEL LIPSTICK-REVLON COLOR STAY- STAY CURRENT

Parade outfit - tops need to be tucked in - put belt through loops tie into a losse knot and the rest hangs down

We will be starting classes TUE September 3TH - no classes on labor day.
Fall Dance, Gymnastics and Cheer Schedule

Look at our blog for our new dance schedule.  You need to sign your child up for classes on our
blog.  There is a link on our blog for you to register your child.

We might have to do some adjusting after we start teaching.   It usually takes a couple of weeks.
