Hair for parade

2nd grade and younger

Hair parted in the middle with 3 ponytails on each side with clear elastics. Tie bandana around the bottoms of each pony. My sure to put a clear elastic around each bandana so that they don't fall out.

3rd grade and older

Hair parted on the right side with hair slick back to the left pulled back in a low ponytail. Tie bandana around the back of the ponytail. Make sure you put an elastic around the bandana or bobby pin it in so it doesn't fall out.

**Look at the note and see where your child starts Parade.  Make sure she is at the right place before you leave her with us.

 Dear Parent,

Wednesday August 22  is the Fair Parade.  VaDels are number 32 in the Parade.  Every girl will need to be at the place she lines up by 4:30 PM.  Please do not be late!  The Parade will start on time and we are at the first!

All girls 3rd grade and older will line up at 665 So 100 W AND ALL THE GIRLS THAT ARE RIDING THE FLOAT WILL GET ON THE FLOAT AT THAT SAME ADDRESS. You will have to go down the back streets to drop her off or park and walk her down to her place.  Girls riding on the float will be at the beginning of the Parade with the older girls at 665 So 100 W. Girls 2nd grade and younger will line up at the 2nd/5th ward LDS church - 300 South Tremont Street. Not the Stake Center. Its the church by the post office . Krisanne , Jackie and Darci will be at the beginning of the parade with the 3rd  grade and older girls and the girls on the float.  Debbie, Kalisa and Karly will be at the church location with the younger girls that are dancing on the road (2nd grade and younger)

***Every girl will need someone at the end of the Parade to pick her up when we are done performing.  They will make us move our vehicles out of the way and we cannot stay with your child - make sure you are at the end of the parade to pick her up when we get there.  The parade route ends at North Park Park.

HAIR -  PICTURE OF HOW TO DO HER HAIR FOR PARADE WILL BE ON OUR BLOG Bobbie pin bandanas in your child’s hair really good so they don’t fall out.

EARRINGS - Must be Va-Del Rhinestone earrings - studs only (no loops or hanging earrings). Put bandages on your childs heels -so she does not get blister on heels.

LIPSTICK - EVERY GIRL WILLL NEED TO WEAR THE VA-DEL LIPSTICK-COVER GIRL STAY ON ULTIMATE WINE Every girl will need to wear black spankies under her shorts. Every girl will need white shoe laces.

 Fall Dance, Gymnastics and Cheer Schedule

We will be starting classes TUE September 4TH - no classes on labor day. We are moving to a new building. Watch our blog for more info.

Look at our blog for our new dance schedule.  You need to sign your child up for classes on our blog.  There is a link on our blog for you to register your child - located on the left side.

We might have to do some adjusting after we start teaching.   It usually takes a couple of weeks. WE ARE MOVING INTO A NEW BUILDING. WE WOULD LOVE ANY MOMS AND DADS THAT COULD HELP US ON MON. OR TUE  AUG 27 & 28. WE MIGHT NEED HELP ON WED AUG 30. WE WILL BE THERE  ALL DAY AND EVENING WORKING ON THE MOVE. IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED IF WE COULD GET A LOT OF HELP.

Parade costume info

Your child will receive a note at Tues practice with all the info about parade
Tue after practice we will show everyone how we would like you to do your child’s hair for parade. We will have girls at practice with their hair done for parade. Please have someone at the end of our practice to see how her hair needs to be for parade.
Every student owes $45.00 for lessons to do parade.
We asked for a $30.00 deposit for parade outfit. If your child paid the deposit and she is 3rd grade and younger she will owe $26.00 for her balance. If your child is 4th grade and older and you paid her deposit then she will owe $27.00 for her balance.
If you didn’t pay her deposit then you will owe the full amount.
When picking up your child’s parade outfit she will need to be paid in full including lessons. If you pay for her balance on Mon then she will receive hers first at Tue’s practice. Girls who pay balance on Tue will receive hers after we had hand out the girls who paid on Mon. 
It will be easier for us to have them in a separate box.
We will have earrings at Tues practice.
They are $13.00
Every girl will need white shoe laces in her parade shoes. Make sure you double knot her laces do they don’t come undone when she is performing. Put bandages on her heals so she doesn’t get blisters.
We would love anyone that’s not performing on the road to ride our float!
Make sure you register your child on line for fall dance, cheer and gymnastics classes.

Parade practice Monday & Tuesday

We will be having a parade practice Monday & Tuesday (20th & 21st)

Everyone will be from 9:00-10:00 at the middle school both days.

Registration

Hello everyone! Registration for our Fall/Spring 2018-2019 year is up. We are requiring a registration fee of $20 to register this year as well as auto pay. A CC number will be required to sign up. If you would prefer to pay with check or cash you still can. If you prefer to pay this way it just needs to be in before the 15th. If it is not in by the 15th your card will be charged. We are excited for a new year full of fun and hard work!

Va-Del swim party will be at the Brigham Pool Tue Aug 7. Open at 12. We would love everyone to come! They will charge $5.00 to get it. It will be so fun!
