Dear Parent,

Doors will open to the public at 4:30.  YOU CANNOT COME TO THE HIGH SCHOOL BEFORE 4 - THEY DO NOT WANT ANY STUDENTS OR PARENTS UNTIL 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The door everyone will need to come in to save seats will be the door we went through for our practices last Saturday.  You can save seats with blankets.  Please follow these rules the High School has requested!!!!!!!!

You need to bring 2 bags to the Dance Revue, 1-for all her costumes and one to put her costumes in after she performs.  Every year students leave items in the dressing rooms.  After the Revue check your child’s bag and make sure she has all her costumes.

*** We will be performing the Finale Glow in the Dark number at the end of our Revue.  We need  every dancer to stay till the end - the girls love it!  If your child is in our younger group you need to help her with a cute pose for when she is spot lighted.  You can purchase glow in the dark necklaces at the dollar store.  Every dancer needs one to throw in the air at the end - they love wearing them.
Thursday May 24th is our Revue at Bear River High School Gym.  Your child needs to be at the high school by 6 pm already to perform in her VaDel Jazz costume, unless she is in a number before her jazz dance. Your child will wear her VaDel Jazz costume for her ballet/lyrical number, except for 7th & 8th grade.  They will wear white shade top, white top and black spankies. Gymnastics section - black shorts, black tank top (must be modest - no skinny straps) white no show socks and white cheer shoes. Everything the same as every competition (lipstick that we use this year etc) hair is the same as she wore for every dance at competition.  Hair is the same for all cheerleaders as competition.

Our dressing rooms are the girls  locker room and the Dance room.  We will put signs on the wall.
Our DVD’s will have our entire Revue with the slide show that will be shown at the end of our Revue, plus pictures we have taken of the girls through out the year.  Wendell Pace will be selling DVD’s at the Revue.  The DVD’s will cost $20.00 if paid before the night of the Revue - at the Revue they will be $25.00.  Please write checks out to Wendell Pace.

Parade practices will Start July 23rd.  We will post info on our blog.  Specialty Teams will be picked this summer - these teams are for girls who want to excel on a higher technical level.  Technique and Flexibility classes will be required to be on these teams.  Your child must take our technique classes and do parade in order for her to qualify to be on any of our specialty teams.

Fall class schedules, dance, cheer & gymnastics will be on our blog around the first part of July.  You will need to register your child’s classes she is interested in taking on-line.
We will be having a Va-Dels swim party at the Brigham Pool for all our dancers.  We will post the info on our blog.

Saturday May 19th rehearsal

Dear Parent,

We will be performing the big finale in the glow in the dark at the end of our Revue. We need every dancer to stay to the end. The girls love it!
If your child is in our younger group you need to help her with a pose for when she is spotlighted. Every dancer needs a glow in the dark neckless to throw in the air at the end of our finale. You can purchase a glow in the dark neckless at the dollar store. You need to dress her in neon and white colors. Gymnastic section will perform twice. Once in the light (she will need to wear black spankies and black tank top) and in the glow the dark where she will need to dress in neon and white colors.

Saturday May 19 is our revue practice at the Bear River High School gym. Your child needs to arrive at 7:20 AM so we can start right at 7:30.

Please no parents, except the ladies that are helping us. Every student must attend this practice if they want to be in the Revue. We need every student to be on time so we can finish on time. No PJ’s or blankets. Come ready to work hard, wear dance clothes, bring your dance shoes, cheer shoes, & Pom Poms (NO COSTUMES!). Dancers please go to bed early so you are ready to practice. No one is allowed to leave early.
You child will receive another note next week with additional information about the Revue. When you arrive at the Revue Look over the program, mark the dances your child is in. Make sure your child is out in the hall ready to perform 3 numbers before her group performs so we can get them lined up. She can not come out of the audience to perform.

Our younger classes will be performing their ballet dance right after their jazz dance. We will leave both preschool classes and kind. on the side of the gym floor after their jazz dance, So they are ready to perform their ballet number. After performing the ballet number, you can change her into her neon clothes for the glow in the dark number (unless she is in other dances or cheers). Have her sit by you until we have everyone line up for the grande finale (glow in the dark number).

For the glow in the dark number - preschool moms will need to take her child out into the hall behind the gym by dressing rooms and give her to Jackie. Jackie will line them up for the glow in the dark number.

Towards the end of the revue we will have all dancers and cheer leaders go to the hall by the dressing rooms to line up for the glow in the dark number (we will practice this on Saturday).
We will spotlight all dancers and cheer leaders, then everyone will perform the big Finale in the dark. We taught all the girls a new dance for the glow in the dark. The more white and florescent colors the more she will glow (NO PAINT). After we perform the finale, all preschool moms will need to get their child and have her sit by you for the slide show. All other dancers and cheer leaders will sit on the floor to watch the slide show. It will only last 10 minutes. Karly has worked hard putting together an awesome slide show for you and your dancer. We have something to give all the dancers and cheer leaders after the slide show so don’t leave without getting it.

If all the students change their clothes fast and come out into the hall where we line up we will be able to keep our revue on time. It should be over at 9:30.

Every student must be paid in full including May tuition before our revue practice. We lover teaching your child, but please keep in mind this is our job. When your child is paid in full she will receive her pictures.

Bear River High School principal said no one can come into the gym to save seats until 4:30. The gym doors will be locked until then. If you come and put blankets down before 4:30 - they will come and collect them and throw them away - you cannot come to the high school until 4:00. The principal informed us that if we don’t comply - they will not let us rent the gym again on a weekday. Bleachers will be pulled out at 4:30 and then the janitor will unlock the doors. We expect everyone to comply with these rules!

Practices for Monday May 21 & Tuesday May 22 will be posted on the blog —————Thank You
