Schedule for the week of May 9th...

ALL CLASSES WILL BE TAUGHT AT THE STUDIO

We will be getting ready for our Revue.  Make sure your child comes to class to work on her ballet number and black and white number (glow in the dark), dress your child in white clothes.  Be Creative!  It is the last number we perform on our Revue.

Your child will receive a note at class next week with the time of her REVUE PRACTICE on Saturday May 14th.  Practice will be in the morning.  Every girl must be to this practice if she wants to perform in the Revue.

Make sure you Cheer loud the girls will love it!!!

Make sure your child does not leave home without her ticket.  She will be charged to enter the competition if not.

Saturday May 7th is our competition.  It is at Roy High School (21500 W 4899 S. in Roy).  DO NOT BE LATE!  We will have to perform even if everyone is not there, we don't have a choice- the performances are on a tight schedule.  We will meet in practice gym.  There will be girls there to tell you where the practice gym is.  Before you leave home make sure you have everything your daughter needs for her performances!  Please bobby pin in all ribbons and headbands so they don't fall off.

There are a lot of teams competing at this competition.

You can go home after your child has performed.  We will hand out awards at the studio next week.  MAKE SURE TO SAFETY PIN SKIRTS ON BOTH SIDES OF HIPS!!! with the flower on her left side and buckle in the center.  Flower for hair on right side with feathers on the top of flower.  Make sure you have someone close to the gym floor to get your child when we are done.  Tell her to stay right there not to leave the gym.

COSTUMES
Va-Dels costume- (all parts), hair piece, dance shoes, dance tights, rhinestone earrings.  If your child is in the dance groups that didn't get earrings-then she can wear round rhinestone earrings (studs only)

Pee Wee Cheer and Jr. Cheer- Top, skirt, black bottoms, white keds, white peds (socks you can't see), red ribbon, Pom Poms-No earrings!

Jr-Oldest Competitive Cheer, All Star Cheer-Top, skirt, black bottoms, white keds, white peds (socks you can't see), red ribbon, Pom Poms-No earrings!

Jr Elite-high tops, black Capri bottoms, safety pin bottom of pants so they are tight under her knee and won't slide down during her performance, pink top, scarf and rhinestone earrings

Pee Wee Company-yellow dress, yellow flower, yellow shorts, rhinestone earrings, dance tights & dance shoes

Oldest Elite-skinny jeans, orange top, jacket, high tops & rhinestone earrings, black tank

Hair

Cheer leaders-loose curls, pulled back in a high ponytail with a black elastic-bobby pin bangs back on the left pull to right-NO BANGS.

Jr. Company, Pee Wee Company, Jr & Oldest Elite- loose curls, pulled back in a high ponytail with lack elastic-bobby pin bangs back to the side part on left to right-NO BANGS

Va-Dels Dancers- 4th grade and younger curl her hair and leave down long, bobby pin bangs back part on left to the right- No bangs.  5th and older girls curl hair and make curls on top bobby pin curls, pull into a pony tail with black elastic, bobby pin bangs back part on left pull to right NO BANGS!

EVERY girl needs a bag to keep all her dance costumes in so she doesn't lose anything.

*Put child's name on everything
*No underwear under costumes- you can see pantie lines and she will be wearing tights
*Every girl needs to pack bobby pins and safety pins!
*Every girl needs to wear dark lipstick (BROWN).  If your child is young please do not put a lot of make up on her.  (pack lipstick)

Gym Fees, Pictures & DVD

We will be handing out pictures before our Revue.  Your child must be paid in full including May tuition and gym rental!

If your child takes just one class then she owes $20.00 for gym rental.  If your child takes more than one class then she owes $23.00.  If your child is in Jr or Oldest Competitive Cheer she owes $25.00.

Karly will be putting together the slide show for our Revue.  We have a professional videoing the Revue.  You can buy a DVD for $20.00 if you buy it before the Revue and $25.00 at the door.  The DVD will have the Revue and Slide show on it!!!

We need all the girls who missed pictures to come anytime between 6:15-7:00 to get her picture taken so we can add her to her group.  We need everyone to pictures even if you do not want to buy one.  Write checks to Wendell Pace.  Pictures are $12.00 this includes an individual and group picture.
